The Traslopark is an automatic parking system that moves cars via an integral lift trolley (or ILT). It’s suitable for both public and private car parking of medium to large size – from 80 cars right up to 1,000 cars with multiple modules.
Traslopark can be installed either underground or above ground, with an access area either above or below the parquet floors.
A distinctive feature of the Traslopark is its one central piece of machinery called the translocator. Because it combines horizontal and vertical movements simultaneously, it provides reduced cycle times compared to the Liftpark system.
What’s more, the absence of a central soleplate in the translocator area means there’s less need for excavation – potentially saving thousands during installation.
How the Traslopark system works
Cars are parked on a galvanised plinth anchored to concrete slabs. The ILT transfers the car from the parking space to the translocator itself, which then moves horizontally and vertically as needed to reach the exit room.
Once the vehicle is in the entry/exit room, and turned to face outwards, the driver can then enter their car and leave the parking lot. The system is then ready for a new operation.
Thanks to its use of an ILT, there’s no time delay before an empty pallet is placed within the entry room, ready for the next vehicle.
The parking procedure is the same as the process above, in reverse.
Additional options for your Traslopark
Traslopark can be supplied with an optional turntable that rotates vehicles within the system to allow entry and exit forwards.
The entry/exit room can be located either conventionally inside the building, or externally with a retractable roof that provides a flat outer surface when closed.
By incorporating an additional revolving elevator tower, the entry and exit room can be dramatically reduced in size – while still delivering cars facing outwards, ready to leave.
